Kaley Bohlin, BA (she/her/hers)—
I am a pre-licensed Assessment Practicum student at Midwest Health. I am a second-year doctoral student at Augsburg University’s Clinical Psychology (Psy.D) program. At this time, I can see clients seeking psychological assessments/testing. In the past, I’ve gained clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults diagnosed with various psychological disorders in an inpatient psychiatric hospital. I’ve also worked with adolescents diagnosed with eating disorders in a residential facility.

Professional & Clinical Interests:
While I have a strong foundation in working with children and adolescents, I am eager to expand my professional experience by working with individuals of all ages. I am also interested in working with families to provide their children with the best care. I have a particular interest in working with the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. My clinical interests include eating disorders, anxiety, and mood disorders, as well as obsessive-compulsive and related disorders.

My Approach to Assessments:
When it comes toassessments, I see myself as a social justice and human rights advocate. Istrive to provide a holistic approach that takes into account an individual’sintersecting identities. I believe in the importance of body inclusivity andending the stigma of weight, shape, and body size. Additionally, I am committedto promoting anti-racism and cultural sensitivity. I am committed to providinga safe space for those in the LGBTQIA+ community. Ultimately, I approach assessmentwith individualized care for my clients while considering their minoritizedidentities. It is an absolute honor to be let into a client’s world, and Itruly believe that collaboration and acknowledging a person’s strengths can significantlyimpact one’s mental well-being.
